Anthony W. Surber, Esquire has a variety of legal experience and prides himself in serving his clients with the utmost care and devotion. Before starting his own practice in 2005, Mr. Surber worked at a large Bay Area law firm specializing in real estate and title insurance related matters.
Along with his specialization in real estate, Mr. Surber has practiced extensively in the areas of commercial litigation, family law/divorces, foreclosures, corporate law and personal injury. He also served as in-house counsel for one of Florida’s largest mortgage companies, where he was responsible for all legal functions of the company. In addition, he was responsible for the company’s title insurance offices in both Orlando and Tampa.
Mr. Surber received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern School of Law in Ft. Lauderdale. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Bar, Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section, and participates regularly in continuing legal education and professional organizations. Mr. Surber is an agent for Attorneys Title Insurance Fund is a member of the Carrollwood Area Business Association (“CABA”), Bay Area Real Estate Council (“BAREC”), Greater Tampa Area of Realtors (GTAR) and the Tampa Bay Real Estate Investors Association.
